India’s Akash missile system has achieved a remarkable milestone by showcasing its ability to engage four aerial targets simultaneously at a range of 25 kilometers. This groundbreaking display of technological prowess was proudly announced by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), highlighting India’s unique position as the first country to possess such a capability within a single firing unit.

The Akash missile’s superiority was demonstrated during the ‘Astrashakti’ military exercise conducted by the Indian Air Force on December 12.
